Yes I do. I have never read anything in the Bible where someone was considered "holy" for taking a vow of celibacy. They are human just like we are. God himself gave us sex so we could enjoy our mates. Of course I do not think he inteded us to be enjoying it with several at a time. Just my opinion. Besides that. . . .How the hell can a preist give you marital advice if he was never married.

No, I don't think so. I think that being a priest is a job that is too consuming for them to have a stable marriage and children. I know that preachers and reverends can be married, but priesthood is very different than those professions. I also don't believe that there are that many "perves" in the priesthood. It was just seriously blown out of proportion by the media.

actually, I don't personally have any priests of my own. But it might be a good idea to let your priests get married. They would understand what real life is like more if they had to deal with a wife and kids on a regular basis.

What difference would it really make? A lot of married men and women are pervs too.

I think they shouldn't be allowed to marry. They are indeed serving God and as a full time serviceman, their hearts are supposed to be pure to carry out all of God's messages. If they have families and a life outside of church, it will lead chaos and their teachings won't be pure since they can be influenced from their feelings. You can't help anybody if you need help yourself. Sorry, but this is their chosen path in life.

Once a perv always a perv. Seems like priest do like little boys and gravitate to them. So it wouldn't matter.

A perv is a perv is a perv, no matter what profession. Marriage will not stop them from their sick inclinations.
P.S. I think castration upon conviction should be mandatory.

Yes, we should allow them to marry and I also agree that there is a chance of reducing the pedo's in that line or work.

Yes, it works very well in the Protestant churches. It is not natural to demand celibacy from priests.
