Yes, it will expire after 30 days. Also, in Options, Manage your Account, Settings, under Common Tasks (at the right) you will see Close My Account).
But remember, an MSN hotmail account provides handy access to the entire Microsoft network in case you need updates to any of your Microsoft software or access to their so-called "knowledge base"...

Need more information Is it a a free hotmail account or something else? If its a free account don't use it its closed if inactive for more than 30 days it closed
