I agree with you,and it is disgusting some of the things that people post or the way they answer a question. I think even the person with the best intentions has to always remember and keep in my mind how many people who are on this site that are under the age of 18,and they should not have to be subjected to perv's or just straight raunchy trash that I often see posted.Those are the things that need to be reported to keep this site from going in that direction,(however some trolls and freaks of another nature have become obsessed with reporting things,in hopes to get an innocent person's account deleted,just to mess with them.)I agree with you there are plenty of other sites they can fulfill their needs and be as creepy as they want,it has to make you wonder WHY doesn't it.?.OK I chalk it up to stupidity,perversion, and mental issues.

Depends what you mean by perv? If you mean those weirdos that come onto people on this site then I really don't like them and it should be more regulated. But some categories do contain adult content in a necessary way eg womens health, singles and dating.
To be honest, I'm not sure any parent should leave a child totally unsupervised on the internet so why this site should be any different I'm not sure.

Well BB, it looks like you are the only person who signed up for Y/A and read the community guidelines before clicking "I accept". Yahoo originally wanted Y/A to be a research tool that would be used by anyone who wanted an answer and didn't want to do the research. It was turned into a chat room, by the P&S crowd. Dont worry, Y/A wound up on a list of adult sites, so many filters stop kids from reading it.

Agreed but think on this , the perv's will just follow the kids it's what they want I think the best policy would be for someone who's known to do that should A) Be reported at every violation B) Have his questions totally ignored by everyone ( remember they can only get points if they get answers).if he whole of a section ignored someones questions then they eventually run out of points and can't ask more.

This is a adult site you have to be 18 or over, It works both ways there are plenty of sites for teenagers to use..I totally agree with you about the pervy questions as there is no need for that kind of thing,But this site is not meant to be used by kids..If you feel the questions are bad report them to yahoo..
The bad thing about all of the abuse that has been going on is that most of it is coming from the kids themselves as they can say what they want and hide behind the computer, You can tell that at around 4:15pm all the nasty answers start and all the gross questions appear

There are thousands of sites I would be more worried about kids seeing than this one. I would rather kids came to this site too than watching the trashy behaviour and loose morals shown in soaps like eastenders (in Britain)

They dont have moderators and they should do,real people checking posts and removing the offensive ones,its ok saying we can do the reporting,but obviously that doesnt work as some people unfairly abuse the system,resulting in people getting banned when they shouldnt be,why,because its all done by a computer,i bet they dont even check the abuse reports,just act on them.
