shipment replica purse us customs??

hi, I was planning to buy a replica purse for cheap from china. Don't ask why. I just hear about this custom thing? I don't know much about it or the process? It will be my first time ordering something from out of US. I am not buying wholesale to sell. I am just buying 3 replica purses. Will it be an easy process or will customs really check these purses? Also, I heard that mailman would charge you a fee when they bring it to your door? Yes I'm really lost. Please if anyone can help with info. I'd really appreciate it.
