My high school "sweetheart" passed away the night before we were all going to write our final Math paper. He had a major asthma attack. The stupid teachers told us he died before any of us went in to write our paper. Guess how that exam went. We had known each other since we were like 10 years old.

Julie did - a girl I knew in primary school who went to a different high school than myself. She eventually married her high school sweetheart.
No she wasn't my primary school sweetheart; I had another; but her parents moved away - obviously with her at that age; nevertheless, we do all know how to keep in touch with one another.

The girl who married her high-school beau has been married now for over 30 years.

I was with my HS sweetheart for 12 years. I got rid of is triffling azz last year before my bday and it was the best decision I ever made in life. When someone is with you that long and you guys grew up together, they seem to take advantage of you and I was not gonna allow that to happen. Sad to say its rare that HS sweethearts stay together forever... people change, grow apart and get tired of one another...

I did.We stayed married four years and ran out things in common, and he became a total control freak, when we said I do.He also started becoming physically and mentally abusive, and cheating. We had a two year old son, when I left him. That was eleven years ago.Now he's remarried, lives in another state, and has a daughter. The only thing I get from him is child support. He hasn't seen his son in almost seven years or spoke to him,and his son resents and hates him for it.the kind of man he is,I think my son's better of,not knowing his dad,but I've never stopped my ex from seeing him or talking to him.I've always made sure he's had a current address and phone number.I also send him pictures of his son, every once in a while, because I'm not a mean person.

I did. What a disaster. I ended up getting a divorce because he was an abuser which only came after marriage. And we were dating for 5 years! What a mistake.
