Depends on what kind of "fishing" we are talking about! But for me, it's always after. Think about it--do I really want to walk around the rest of the day with a woman's love juices on me? Not exactly sanitary lol

I love to go fishing but I hate the smell on me, so I always shower as soon as I get home.

I say after only because of the off you have to put on, the worms you have to touch and that fish smell, well you might not think that you smell like it but you do and so do your clothes.

No sense in taking one before you go, lol, you're just going to get worm juice, minnow scales, stink bait "stink" and fish slime on you. Wait until after.
Edit:not to mention you'll probably end up in the river when the fish aren't biting.
(I was raised on the river banks)

both before and after. if you take one before your chance of smelling fresh all day will be much better, and then definitely take one after so you don't smell like a fish. if you absolutely have to choose, take on after.
