the sweetest thing lately happened today. my 5 yo son was playing chasey with a younger boy and whenever that boy was 'it' he would cry because he could not catch the bigger kids. my son would walk up to him and say sorry and tell him that he would run slow so the little boy could catch him.
my heart swelled with pride that my son was being so considerate and unselfish!

My 6 yr old nephew and his 3 yr old sister. They're always holding hands and he pats her head, smiles at her, as if to say "I'll look after you." They're so close and look so cute together
