The best bottles to use are AVENT bottles. Avent is the only bottle that is clinically shown to reduce colic and gas. Plus, the soft, naturally shaped nipple encourages baby to latch on in a way that is similar to breastfeeding plus they are highly recommended by doctors. They sell the small bottles that are 4 oz and the bigger bottles 9 oz. They can be purchased at Department stores such as Target. Walmart does not carry these. P.S. The Bottles that have the drop in plastic bags are harder to push air out of.

I also love the Avent bottles. Something in the screw-on neck helps to remove the air. My 3 1/2 month old uses them and we've had no problems. They are much easier to clean than the Dr. Browns and the bottles are light weight, my baby can almost hold it up without any effort.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the playtex dropins. They have drop in bags that you put the formula in then push the air out from the bottom. I think they would work for you. There is also a wal-mart brand but they leak... the playtex does not. BUT if you try these, be patient when pushing out the air. If you push too hard the bag will pop ut and you will hae a mess!

Dr. Brown's bottles are the best that we have found. Sure it is a hassle to wash them especially the straw with the little brush. But in the long run, them are worth it.

Use the playtex ones with plastic bag inserts- you reach in from the bottom and push the air out before feeding.

the playtex with the drop ins, they have a bag that you throw away after each use and is more natural than any other bottle out there, so will give baby less air

I use the MAM bottles that have the screw on bottoms and these seem to work OK but I live in the UK. You could probably buy them online though
Good luck x

if they were leaking from the bottom then you had the seal placed wrong inside the bottom or you messed with the holes in the seal. once you figure out how to set the diaphram right then youll be in business. the diaphram also needs to be boiled once a week, again dont mess with the holes.
