I live in michigan, and I've been thinking about getting a scooter, but I want a 150cc one. Its still a scooter, but since its over 50cc would it be treated like if I bought a motorcycle (needing an endorsement, insurance, plates, ect ect)??????

Will, when I imported some Scooters into the states, all over 50cc were labeled as Motorcycles. I would suggest that you check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles to make sure. Although most places will sell it to you, the problem is if your DMV requires a Motorcycle endorsement, you could be heavily fined should you get pulled over. Better safe than sorry. Whatever you decide to purchase, remember to ride safe and follow the Traffic Laws. Good Luck.

the final thought is scooters are scooters and motorcycles are motorcycles. The nicer human beings you meet will say, "as long as you're on 2 wheels with the wind on your face we've something in ordinary." The jerks won't such as you till you journey their favored make of motorcycle besides. do exactly no longer tell human beings you journey a bike and take place on the journey assembly place on a scooter.

Yes.
Even a 50cc scooter needs a motorcycle license to opperate it in most states.

In IN it would be considered a Motorcycle. You would need to plate it, ins. it and get your endorsment.
