PLAN:
1. Read the 4 poems
2. note the subject matter of each, in 4 words or less
3. make a statement about the style of each one (lyric, narrative etc)
4. Note verbs, adverbs, nouns and adjectives that are 'same' or 'not same'
5. Write an opening paragraph saying if two or three are like each other and one is not, a kind of basic outline statement
6. Take each of 1, 2, 3, and 4, and state the similarities and the differences of the poems.
7. (I like 7 - number of completion) Restate the opening paragraph using your now-completed analysis

I stay in Wales so I do WJEC board for English meaning i do not do any of the 4 poem comparing themes that you all do. I could do 2 contraptions of 10 mark and 20 mark essays on a play (Romeo & Juliet) and a dissimilar (Of mice and individual adult men). the ten marker is an extract question and the 20 marker is a question on the play as an finished. For section C, we get an unseen poem and we could study it i.e. talk with reference to the matters, stylistic helpful properties, mood and so on. It become an finished 2 and a 0.5 hours of robust writing, my wrist ached! It went ok, i presumed my mock become a lot a lot less confusing in spite of the easy incontrovertible actuality that that's why i'm fairly annoying. it fairly is in simple terms a form of exams the position i rather do no longer recognize how i have were given finished, it is going to flow both way yet I fairly have my hands crossed. If i do not get an A then i'd be rather unhappy. sturdy success on your exams, choose you do authentic! x

1st start by introducing the poems quickly, how the poet uses the theme.Say how they do this, if it is casual or seriouse ect, use one pre 1914 n one post 1914. how is the theme used.
Then compare the language, wht does the language convey ie grief.
Next the structure of the other two peoms ie use of enjambment, colloquial phrases, rhyme and allliteration. say wht this does ie makes it faster, disorientates the reader ect. how the way the poems are written enforces the meaning.
Lastly note quickly some differences ie all monologue, or 1st person. then the differences, ie how each writter deals with the theam differently.
hope it helps
