Guppies, neon tetras, phantom tetras, serpae tetra, Gourami( all different kinds like kissing, Dwarf etc..) rainbow shark. corydora's. platys, Betta (male and female) Its not a fish but African dwarf frogs there really neat and fun to watch. Oscar, and the list can go on this is just a few that i can think of right off hand.

My favorite fresh water fish is a clown loach.
My favorite salt water fish is a blue tang (Dory from Finding Nemo).
