Wolfowitz had resigned to give way to Blair to assume the top post at the World Bank since he is quitting as Premier of UK. Wait for the next update.

Wolfowitz is out because George Soros spread enough money around and bought the chair. I see Voelker before Blair at the helm of the World Band. Voelker is in his 80's and Blair needs time to rebuild what ever damage has hurt him.
As much faith that I have in President Bush I don't see him as the power broker here. The money is coming from Soros and his will be done! Soros continues to empower the Kooky Far Left in the U.S. and may have an affect on the 2008 Election. However, we can't give up on the true "Loyal Opposition". They have had their feelings hurt and are finally starting to come back by slamming the Nut bars head to get their attention. Once they have them under control we will see some real action from the true Dems toward conciliation and proper representation. BTW, Ted Kennedy is not a member of the "Loyal Opposition". He is the most despicable and dishonorable politician to fertilize the Hallowed Halls Of Congress. Even beyond BJ Billy!

Bush won't nominate Blair because he wants US interests to reign supreme in the World Bank, plus Blair is about as popular as Bush in Europe right now.

Wolfowitz was a Jew and very close to Israel, A spotted cheetah!
Blair tumbled into 10, downing Street and tumbled out of it due tohis own making -trying to please others rather than think of himself and his position.
World Bank is not a musical chair for Bush and his troupe.

It might happen, as long as Blair can keep out of jail in UK. He had to be questioned by the police over the selling of Lordships. At least he will be closer to the anus of Dubya, so that will be nice for him.

I doubt that would happen, but who knows. I never thought that Harriet Myiers would have ever been nominated for the Supreme Court either.
