I have a strict policy, I can take a good rubbing twice in a row, but I give back with interest if it's a third time (without being nasty). It is important that you don't end up being a doormat. And if you lack what it needs to pull a fast one, simply state to the offending party that your feelings have been offended.

oh !! sure.
my friends don't laugh at my expense but for one thing.
i'll tell you what.
my unconventional choices.
i've never fallen for a good-looking guy in high school, neither any tv actor or filmstar.they think that's weird.
if i am impressed by a guy good at quizzing or debate, they think it's funny coz they can't look beyond his glasses !!
also,i don't watch commercial movies much so every friday i'm not going to accompany them to the movie theatre.
having said that,my friends respect my choices, this making fun thing is usually casual.
cheers & god bless :)
