There is no question in my mind. We would all be far better off.
What ever happened to shrinking government. I understand the importance of strong state government but I can not find any justification for the massive federal growth over the last two decades.

It would be best to kick all the professional politician out of office and state with some new faces. It they do not do a proper job then replace them.
Also politician retirement should be the same as Soc. Sec.

No, but I certainly believe that it could use reoganization. They certainly don't seem to be doing much anymore. They make laws for political expediency and then refuse to enforce them. It seems like their TRUE purpose is to be re-elected, rather than to serve the will of the people. This new "We're not calling it Amnesty" Amnesty bill is infuriating me.

No. However much I may disagree with certain people in congress, our government NEEDS a system of checks and balances.

No. We need a Congress which has more power, and an executive which has less. The founders believed in checks and balances and co-equal branches of government.
