I recently jus installed a Ninja plus rev B. But the temperature is almost the same. Do anyone noe why is it so?
is it becos i did not install preoperly or i did not apply the thermal paste properly.

By the way, do i hav to clean the surface of the cpu too? Coz there are some paste left on the surface when i was using the stock cooler.

Before applying the thermal paste you must completely wipe off the previous remaining paste, as well as any dust. Certain types of thermal pastes must be applied to the center, and might take 5-6 days to spread and cool down. Make sure that the temperature measurement before and after the new paste were done under the same settings (same room temperature, number of running applications & their types).

Yes! you must wipe off the old paste on the surface of the CPU. I did the same thing last 3 weeks and it has made my CPU cooler

You may have done something wrong. maybe not. or maybe that's just how the CPU runs.
