if the date of the last period is unknown how accurate would a 7 weeks ultrasound be?
If you slept with one person once and and another two weeks later could you rely on the ultrasound to get the dates right?

Ultrasounds are reasonably accurate. Babies are almost never born on there due dates. Theres a 2 week window 7days before and 7 days after.
Only way is a DNA test when the baby is born sorry. Good luck

No.. that two week window is about what they use to estimate your baby. Ultrasounds and due dates are not exact.

You wil need a DNA test at birth to confirm whos child it is

Good Luck!

only a DNA test after birth can tell u who the father is. Dating ultrasound can give u an idea of how big the baby is v how many weeks, but if u are going to sleep around at least use protection so this doesn't happen.

u would probably need a dna test for something as important as this. but to my knowlegde a ultra sound is accurate to the day as far as im aware. my sister in law was sure she was due on the 17 aug but the hospital have said its 15 aug. i myself was 100% sure of my dates as it was the first time lucky with trying for a baby and my scan showed i had my dates right down to the day. im sure a day r two could be off with scans but i couldnt imagine two weeks.

I doubt very much you'd be able to tell who's baby it is as it is just an estimated due date and with there only being 2 weeks in between you can't rely on it...DNA test is the only way your going to know for sure.

Considering a woman's window of fertility, it's most likely the first guy you slept with. Here's a link to a page about fertility awareness. Scroll down to the The Calendar Rhythm Method and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Inacurate a seven week scan would determine the date by comparing the size and cell development to determine the age of the cell formation of the and comparing with data to give you an expected date of delivery and could not be used as a tool that would determine paternity this would have to be determined by a DNA test. after delivery

A friend of mine had an ultrasound because she was a little larger than normal. The doctor said she was going to have one big boy. She gave birth to twin girls!

yes the scans are very accurate these days they tell how far gone you are by measuring the baby from head to toe with my second they were one day of from the estimate i gave them. at first they work it out by the day of your last period then at the scan thats the actual date which will be your dute usually they are right from the first date they gave you. hope this helps good luckxxxx

You can only see the babies heartbeat at 6 weeks at the earliest, so if you slept with someone 2 weeks later you would only be 5 weeks and the baby would have no heartbeat
