We have 3 dogs in our house so I need one with good suction power and would prefer bagless. The Dyson's are the best BUT that is more money than I care to spend. Thanks for your input---I normally shop at WalMart, Lowes or Home Depot for things.

I had the same problem only i have two cats. I went to walmart and for $50 i bought the bissell bagless powerforce. it has removeable washable filters too. i empty the dirt cup(big size too) and wash the filters each time since it picks up so much hair and stuff. it's amazing to see the real color of my rugs underneath all the cat hair... if it lasts me a couple of years i'll be happy and it has a 2 yr warranty on it- so far so good knock on wood.

Under $100 is that okay?
The bagless that they sell in the K mart works fine.
I have one and it does a great job.

i presume you live in America, i live in Ireland and i have a nilfisk, I'm not sure if you can rgt them in America but there very good and pretty cheap, they don't do bagless though!
