You want to be pretty? You're never fully dressed without a smile...

If being pretty is the only thing wrong in your life then that's ok. It can easily be fixed. I have to say, first of all, if there is anything else wrong with your life other than not being pretty, then please, fix that first. Life is not a cake walk. You will have to make sacrifices for other people. But, take them lightly, and you will find it is easier than you expected. You may need a change of attitude before a change of wardrobe.

Um, what's your question?
The example you give of people telling you you're not pretty when you claim you're not isn't an example of superficiality. It's quite the opposite, if anything.

Superficiality is pretending you like someone or something when you don't. Like lying. So if everyone was saying how gorgeous you are when you're not, THAT is superficiality.

Your question doesn't make any sense.

STOP trashing yourself first! People can be cruel and sometimes they will go after someone they think is weaker than them so no one focuses on their own flaws! Do you take care of yourself, take showers and pride in the way you look? If you do don't worry about the idiots trying to tear you down. My dad use to joke on my "small" breast size since my mother is 3x my size and my younger sis is 2x my size. I look at it as I can wear more shirt styles and the stores usually always have my size! If you feel bad about the way you look go to a salon and get a good haircut/coloring that best fits you. Treat yourself to a make over by educated people to show you the proper fit for your body and the best colors for your complexion. You are you and if they don't like it they can take a walk. All that matters is what you think of yourself!
