I'm not sure of your question. If you are asking for ideas, I'll try to contribute.

I would suggest live for today but plan for tomorrow. Sure we might die this afternoon, but you could say that every day. If a person doesn't plan for tomorrow, tomorrow may arrive and we aren’t ready for it. Planning for tomorrow involves securing an education, developing skills that will ensure employment, and establishing friendships that will be there for you.

Many lazy people use the excuse to live for today as a reason not to mature and develop themselves. My brother is one of those. Now he is a homeless, day laborer who is miserable. Yes, live for today, but plan for tomorrow, because tomorrow may come.
