He didn't like being in the limelight and success and fame came to fast he couldn't handle it is more likely. He was about the music, not about being popular. His music was personal and he hated being commercialized. He would have been likely living happily ever after still if Nirvana had not made it big and he could have just eched out a living singing in Seattle at local dives; that was who he was.

it was a combination of a lot of things. his brain was messed up even before the heroin and he was just never happy, even with fame and money. I miss kurt, wish he couldve gotten better, once something like heroin has a hold on you life is never the same. BAD ****!!!! don't anybody touch it!!! smoke treefer instead.
