There's nothing wrong with being gay, because its not something you can help. And its others' responsibility to respect that.

Even if you could help it, or change it; even if it was a choice, there wouldn't be anything wrong with being gay! I just don't see what people can have against loving the person of your choice.
Why do so many Christians care so much about homosexuality, when there are so many things going on in the world that are actually bad, that are actually damaging?

If you as an individual are cool with what you are ,and in the sense on humanity you are quite free in the area or the gender to which you show love towards.
Forget religion its source isnt even credible , it was but a form to control man's actions and thankfully most of its commands were for the good for it in the most primal sense.
So enjoy life and love yourself for what you are.

The answer - IT'S NOT! You shouldn't have to try to change yourself just to be accepted. The more important thing to remember is to think for yourself and don't listen to what the bible thumpers tell you. They aren't gay and therefore are completely clueless when it comes to understanding gay people.
If you are a religious person you really need to figure out what your values and beliefs are beforehand and find a church who will accept you for who you are...not one that will try to brainwash you and change you just because you're not who THEY want you to be!

Christianity is based on faith and love. Only you (and er... God) can know what motivates and drives you. Can you get the Christians to accept you are happy in expressing your God-Given Right to make your own choices and decisions about how you conduct your life. Failure to accept this would be un-Christian.
Christians believe that God's Love is Unconditional and His Love is Omnipresent.

Hey, there are some Christian sects that don't have a problem with homosexuality, I think in the US the Episcopalians are one such sect.
So why don't you join them, and continue to follow Jesus as you seem inclined to do?
There's always something if you look.

Stop trying to change yourself. You were born gay. It was not God's plan, but neither is it his plan for a child to be born sick or physically deformed. Remember this, "there is no greater sin". The sin is lying, promiscuity, and dishonor to oneself.

Christians don t ask you to love women
but not to have sex with men...
So you can just avoid having sex in your whole life
The main question is do you really want to change?
If you really want to: it means doing strong efforts your whole life and suffering because you don t live what you naturally want...
The biggest risk is to find yourself being 70 y old and wondering about what you did of your life...
but for some people it is the best solution because living their sexuality is even harder...

Yeah, you can't change as you are. You need to acept yourself as you are. Don't push yourself too hard, it might take some time. Being gay isnt wrong or anything bad.

Their attempt to "change" you, IMHO, is an evil act. Don't try to change, you will only be happy accepting yourself for yourself.
