Unscrew or prise off the glass cover and remove the lamp, normally a SMALL SCREW cap (ses), not bayonet. Get a lamp of the same type and reverse the procedure. NB The most common oven lamp is a 25 or 40watt SES, but make sure that it is marked 'Appliance' or 'Oven lamp- 300°C' these are special lamps suited for high temperature use.

Yes. If it has a light bulb then you should be able to replace it. Over the light bulb will be a glass cover. Just unscrew that and take out the bulb. Then when you go to the hardware store or supermarket you should be able to pick the right type that you need. Most large supermarkets sell these, or hardware stores.
Just make sure the oven is switched off, including the electrics for the oven, both before you take out the bulb and when you replace it with a new one.
Good luck.

No. Your oven is broken. You have to throw it away and buy a new one. No, not really, it should pop out easily with a bit of noodling. Take it to the lamp shop and they'll sort you out a new one for a couple of quid. Or, get the details off the bulb, either on the top of the glass or on the side of the metal fitting, and get on't internet. Theres loads of cooker spares sites.

yes it has....& a bit uncomfy to do, especially if you dont have small hands!
FIRSTLY, make sure that you wasnt using the oven BEFORE u change bulb, as plastic cover will be hot & it can hurt you!
secondly, be aware that IF you have never changed bulb before, it might be a sticky & difficult job as the cover will be sealed tight i place, as it might have come in contact with splattering food!!!
patience is the key....once you have it out, make sure you buy the same bulb for it!
also, what i do is, that every now & then I undo the plastic thing over the bulb so i wont find it jammed/stuck, if i need to change the bulb!

yes... the whole unit should just unscrew from within the oven....unscrew it by hand (you will not need any tools), remove the bulb....go to B&Q or the like , and get a new one...(take the old one with you as there are many types)""make sure you turn off the electric supply to the oven first""

Take the bulb with you to the hardware store. Carefully compare the threaded part to be sure to get the right size. Make sure the package states for oven use.

With ours we have to remove the glass shield then unscrew the bulb then replace it. It is quite a fiddly job.
