Although everyone was great and all of them made it an all time classic I'd have to say the cat made me laugh and still does whenever I think just about his insane vanity let alone the things he said, the way he acted and his chemistry with the rest of the cast.

But the show would have been nothing without the whole team in it the cast were perfect for the role and I don't think there could have been anyone else that could have pulled it off even half as well as they did.

must be the sequence 7 episode the place Lister gets contaminated by using Dave the virus and Kochanski has to maintain reducing off the incorrect arm 'til this is off completely! and then while he gets up and sounds like a WWE wrestler! That sequence have been given a super variety of grievance yet to me i reckon this is the acceptable. My fave character is Kryten besides. For him to be a provider android. he had greater experience and humanity than the others and had neurotic carry-united statesbesides! Do you bear in innovations him freaking out while Lister placed ketchup on the lobster?! anybody sings the praises of wellness care expert Who and the recent one, Torchwood, yet to me, pink Dwarf is how the BBC make stable sci-fi.

Personally, my favourite was the Talkie Toaster, cos he was just so single-minded it became hilarious, especially when placed in a world where no-one wanted any toast - in his words - "I toast, therefore I am...it is my raison d'etre..."

Of the regular cast, it's difficult because they were so intertwined and interdependent on each other, and they were all strong concepts - Lister, the ultimate slob, becomes the last human being alive and grows a bit of purpose, Rimmer the total dweeb helps keep Lister sane by being that much of a pain in the butt. The Cat - beautiful example of evolution in action, and Kryten, the ultimate slave who finds his independence. Personally in terms of psychology, I'm with Lister all the way. How can you not love a guy who, when asked to justify his existence, simply says "Spin on it!"

I absolutely loved Rimmer, when he left and they all sang 'im arnold arnold arnold rimmer im faster than a garden strimmer' still makes me giggle..im actually giggling sitting here singing it out loud!

I loved the Kat too...his alter ego dwayne was so funny too...from the super cool Kat to the ultimate nerd in one easy step.

The show was class until they brought Kachansky back. If you havent read the books get them too - they are just as funny!

I have to say that I liked rimmer for his sad geeky nerdyness, but I like Dave aswell, Infact I liked all of them, especially when Kryton was trying to go against his programming and do bad things, I still like to watch old repeats of them now and sometimes watch them on alluc.org.

Kryton
The incidental wit of his logic & character was perfect in balancing out the larger-than-life egos of the other main characters.
Totally believable as a mechanoid, whilst you liked and cared about him too.
