The king of the Anti-American movement has once again opened his pie hole and demonstrated the reason that his presidency will wind up on the scrap heap of history. Carter has become a spokesman for every American hating idiot in the world and now he's chastizing our staunchist ally for remaining by our side in these troubled times:

LONDON (AP) - Britain's support for the war in Iraq was a "major tragedy" for the world, former President Jimmy Carter said Saturday as he criticized Tony Blair's unwavering support for President Bush. Asked how he would judge Blair's support of Bush, a Republican, the former Democratic president said: "Abominable. Loyal. Blind. Apparently subservient."
"And I think the almost undeviating support by Great Britain for the ill-advised policies of President Bush in Iraq have been a major tragedy for the world," Carter told British Broadcasting Corp. radio.

He's still so bitter about the humiliation handed him by Ronald Reagan that he's become unhinged.

I am just amazed at how many people think that it's perfectly Ok to criticise an all for staying by your side, whether you agree with the President, or not. This must be another lib trait; attack your friends and sympathise with your enemies. That's what makes libs the losers that they are.

So many good points about that louse Carter have already been addressed bo some good and intelligible people here, so I'll just add one into the mix that has not yet been mentioned:

Don't forget that in addition to being a hapless, incompetent hillbilly like Clinton and a disgrace to both the US and the South, Carter is also anti-Semitic. He has called for the end of Israel and the defeat of Jews in the US for years. These cliffnotes can be found in his memoirs in the carter libraries. Ha, the carter library, seems like a waste of a perfectly good dumpster.

Yet his buddies in the Lib anti-American communist media have given him a pass on that, because they too feel the same way.

This is not conjecture, this is fact. But I suppose some of you dolts will conveniently believe the media over the truth and you say that we as conservatives can't think for ourselves, yet you let the scumbag media lead you like stunned sheep, all too typical.

Carter was a disgrace then and a disgrace now. Just like Ted Kennedy, I am amazed that cancer and tragedy and booze have taken everyone else in their families but them. I guess God figures they should have to suffer a little longer on this earth having to look themselves in the mirror and see their butt ugly and traitorous faces everyday. What could be worse than that?

Jimmy Carter was great, if you're talking about comparing to Richard Nixon. Watergate.

I was there when Carter was elected. The worst administration of the 20th century also included the most ridiculous inaugural parade. Jimmy Carter was a lousy president in every way.

Notes:
1) One answerer says the Jimmy Carter served right under Admiral Hyman Rickover. I question that wording. Jimmy Carter kept mentioning Rickover in his campaign. When asked by reporters, Admiral Rickover said that he didn't member Mr. Carter. This is a fact that you can look up.
2) Many people here, as usual confuse Carter's freedom of speech and answerers' right to wish that he would shut up and go away. There's no conflict between the two. Carter can run his ungracious, idiot mouth, and we can wish that he would shut the hell up.

I think Carter should stick to the things hes good at. Promoting nuclear power is a good thing for america!! I would do many things to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Habitat for humanity is a good thing as well. I dont really think hes a foreign relations genius.

It is way Yonder past time for Jimmy Carter to shut the f*** up!
For the poster who thinks we should all have the right to say what we please (and we do, for the most part), it is REALLY bad form for a former President to bad mouth a sitting President's policies or problems. George H.W. Bush NEVER said anything bad about our Rapist in Chief or his policies, but Democrats don't have any sense of propriety, at all.

You're right. Jimmy Carter had no respect when he was in office--and he has none now. Carter has deluded himself into believing his Nobel Peace Prize would legitimize his administration--it didn't. We knew he was a loser then--just as we do now--and yes, he is very, very bitter about it. JC is hoping that if he spews his propaganda loud enough, he can convince the world that he was not the worst president ever.......

Lol.. this coming from the twit who kissed Yassir Arafat on the lips so he could win the Nobel Appease prize. The Peanut Boy never met an American hating despot or dictator he did not try to appease. One of Reagans greatest accomplishments was making this incompetent America hater a one term President. The next thing Carter has to look forward to is lying in state in the Capital Rotunda....and no one shows up.

What Carter said about Blair and Iraq is honest and true. You may not agree but to attack him personally for his opinion is unwarranted.

Since he was President, Jimmy Carter has contributed a great deal that’s worthwhile to the world and to trying to improve the image of the US worldwide.

Carter is a world statesman, a Nobel Prize winner, a humanitarian, an insightful author, and he is widely admired around the world as a man of honesty and integrity. It is an honorable legacy.

This sounds more like a diatribe than a question.
First of all, I agree that President Carters time in office was a bust in most areas.Having said that I must also say that he has a perfect right to express whatever opinion he may have as a private citizen.
He has done some mighty good things since he left office.(Habitat for humanity. etc)
Try to be more tolerant of others views. It is easy to criticize but one must always be thoughtful about it.

Jimmy Carter is probably right. Following after Bush has cost a very popular leader his office. Tony Blair is out. I don't think it is anti-american. Bush made a mistake . . . and biggest mistake is that he had no pull out plan.

What Carter did or did not do as president will shadow over his work that he has accomplished in the years after his presidency. He is considered by many all over the world as one of the most decent to live in the last 50 years.

He is past bitter. He was more shocked and ill planned about his loss. Carter took on a big personal financial debt after losing to Reagan.

If anyone is bitter, I think the old Bush was bitter, but the younger Bush made good and got some revenge over someone who want to take out papa.

It has cost the americans a whole lot of money, a handful of lives and over half a million Iraqis lives.

GW made a mistake, live with it, and stop defending him. After he lives the presidency, and before he dies, he will probably mention in his memoirs that war in Iraq was big mistake, but taking out Sadam was worth it.
