I read about people in the Middle Ages believing fossils were freaks of nature or tricks of the devil in a book called "BEFORE THE DELUGE". I have met a few people in my life who denied the existence of dinosaurs, and read about others. I read that the Chinese thought all fossils were dragon bones, and sold them for charms and talismans.

They existed. We got their bones, footprints, petrified do-do, and now even their DNA. Birds are what is left of their line. Not a hoax, satan or bad science. You would have to be a hardcore fool not to believe the mountain of evidence that exists proving their existence. But we have a lot of hardcore fools who believe they never existed.

In the Middle Ages fossils had not been heard of. If people found them they thought they were dragon bones or something. The concept of exinction wasn't even really described until the 1800s.

People in *this* century with mindsets straight out of the Middle Ages are the ones who think dinosaurs are a devil's trick. Such drivel from supposed adults.

There are even people who believe that the Earth is flat and the Moon landing was faked -- filmed in a TV studio somewhere.

I think in the Middle Ages, they probably thought fossils were dragon bones.

Yes they did exist. They ruled the earth for a long time before us. They are not a trick of any kind, though many extremist religious people that do not have much culture and refuse science like saying lots of stupid things :-) If you want to know more about dinosaurs you can visit :

Hehe...nice question indeed...especially when seen from a religious point of view... :) I mean, how to explain that God created Adam and Eve just hours after he had created the rest of the living world....when you end up with evidences that those species lived millions of years apart....ah....the mysteries of faith....that lead to more questions.... let's just blame the devil for messing around.... OK I'll stop here ;)

You are right about something. Dinosaurs really never exists. There were dragons and manticores, and their bones are that stuff that they actually dig out.

Well, it would seem, from all that has been dug up, that we can only believe that such types did exist.

However, we must be absolutely honest about just how little we really do have concerning them, and not allow obsessive [so-called] 'scientists' devoting their lives to them and to that aspect of archaeology, who are also paid for what they come up with, to cloud our minds, by vain, extremist imaginations and manufactured explanations, when we really do not even know what our brother might be doing in the next bedroom from us!!

In other words, our reality is just so extremely limited in life that we can draw little conclusion about almost anything, unless we see it occur from start to finish.

Certainly, we do not want our minds to be clouded by obsessive scientists who want to prove 'evolution of the species' as a supplement religion - the 'Religion of Atheism', for instance!

no I think they really existed, although I did meet a religious couple once who said they were a hoax and that they never really existed, although they never did say who was responsible for doing it

well, the talmud points out the fact that adam and eve weren't the first humans, only in this era(from the beginning of their creation, it says adams(plural) lived for thousands of years before their "rapture", then God does it over again.
