Do most sea snakes have short fangs?

I'm not a specialist on that matter, but the only snake with fangs I know of is the naja, known also as cobra out here.

The najas might be seen in Japan, and I guess the most ancient snake species come from that territory (though American deserts and Australia are also full of great snakes). Two hints support that hypothesis:
a) sea pits are found around Japan and Philippines more than in any other part of the pacific ocean, as the pits are a sea snake's dream cache for easy food supply,
b) Japanese mythology suggest a cult around snakes, like others had the boar, the cow, and the cat.

All snakes have teeth but boas do not have fangs. pied is when there are large portions of your snake's body is white and patternless, not like an albino. But it sounds like you might have a red tail boa. They are mostly banded with tan and brown and down towards the tail it turns rusty brown or red. Depending on the size you should be feeding him rats that are 1/3 larger than the largest part of it's body. It should be in a relatively large tank with latches that lock because boas will get large and will try to get out. Temps should be 90 warm, 80 cool, humidity is 65% with heat pad under your tank for the temp you don't really need a heat lamp for basking. A large branch for climbing and at least two hides and a water bowl large enough to soak in. Substrate is by preference, some use paper towels, newspaper, ecoearth is what I use, woods chips, etc. It depends on how often you can clean up after it. But you'll need to do a lot of research on it so you can keep your new boa healthy and happy.
