You can’t do any thing. What every has to be done is by your son. Either your son meet some marriage counselor who will help in getting the reconciliation between him & his wife. Second option with him is to seek help of the family court by filling a suit for restitution of conjugal rights. The girl if is not at all willing to live with him then the last option left with him is to seek divorce by mutual consent from her, all though no divorce petition can be filled within one year of the marriage but there is an exception to this general rule if the High court feels that there exist sufficient reason of exceptional hardship to the petitioner or exceptional depravity on part of respondent the condition of one year can be fore gone.

u have not told why she dont want to stay with him,as u said it is a love marriage,i would suggest u to call for a family meeting, call ur son ur daughter in law and all family members and discuss the issue, look as they are any ways not living together there is nothing to lose.may be u find out some way out of the meeting.

Do not interfere in their matters. If your daughter in law wants to live separately that is her right. How can u think about her on your line, even being a woman. Every girl of today wants freedom. If u pressurise more u will spoil the life of your son only. It was a love marriage as u wrote. Let the flowers of love bloom naturally to give best possible fruits to them only. U r only a KABAAB MEN HADDI . Please don't mind & excuse me.

You should butt out. This is not your marriage or your problem. The "girl" (aka your son's wife) probably doesn't want to live with you, because you are interfering with everything you can stick your nose into. Stop treating her as some "girl", respect your son and his chosen life partner as two adults who can make their own decisions, and let them have a life already, for heaven's sake.

Its fraud. There is a sliver of a chance to fraud the system but more then likely result in a deportation and a perm ban plus the American if found out knew about it likely getting blacklisted for a number of years on petitioning any type of visa's. If you plan to marry a US Citizen they need to apply for a fiancee visa and do it the proper way.

Rekhaji as a mother you have played your role. Now garciously agree to their demand and force your son to leave separately , even if it means to live along for you. Do not contact them and let the time pass. All this without any negative feeling or thought. Let the nature and time teach them lessons

I wouldn´t live with my mother in law either.
(I never have been asked to do so, thank goodness!!)
She is lovely woman, but honestly, don´t you think that a young couple deserves its own place??
Nothing against you, mam, but just thinking of having my mother in law each single minute around me and making these Innocent comments... huggg! I would rather get a divorce!!!
I love to visit her, but no more than that!
Everybody has his right to build up a own life.

Are you living WITH your son. If so, maybe you should let your son Grow up and move out and get his own life. Let them solve their own problems..dont be such an interfering mother in law.

it depends on your son if he loves you more then he would not agree to her but if he is in words said by his wife there are chances that either he will move out or kick you out of your own home . if was in your sons position i would let go of her even if it was a love marriage . your love was unbiast towards him and she has a conditional love
