Depends on who does the service. If it's done at the make's dealer it will be all the things specified in the manufacturers schedule. A basic annual service would check everything but only replace oil and oil filter. Extended service would add air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, brake fluid, cam belt if scheduled &c. Things like brake pads & discs only if worn. Of course if you go to a disreputable mechanic you may get non of the above, but you might get a wipe with an oily rag if you're lucky

A "standard" service various between car to car, and mileage covered and age, and what engine is in it, so the best way to find out is to ask a main dealer what gets done.
Oil filters generally done at every service.
Air filters approx 3 years or 30,000 miles.
Spark plugs can be over 60,000 miles.
Timing belts 40, 60, 100,000 miles?
There is too many variables to accurately tell you what you want to know I'm afraid.

Lots of things are checked. The main things changed are the oil.the oil filter and the pollen filter.Other possible things might be the windscreen wipers, tyres, bulbs, air filter, spark plugs. The garage may also advise, you about anything else that needs replacing or renewing like brake pads or linings, exhaust, cam belt etc. The battery might also be tested and replaced if faulty.

90% of the engine will be checked but usually the change the oil and filter and some places change the aircon filters.
They then usaully tell you if anything else needs to be looked at a later stage
