personally i think they are great laptops, i had a few over the years and have never had one die on me, only sold them to upgrade.
customer service and support is normally bad for all the big companies, none of them are any good at it. most of the other laptops on the market are just fashion accessories and wont last as long.

Pros:
Many features installed
Cons:
Very poor customer support; computers have a lot of problems; price is way too high for the quality.

Excluding the customer a Dell is very good and now that Michael Dell is back running the company even the customer is constantly improving

Drivers always available from the website in case of reformatting and Linux.
Generally good value for money
Cons:
Not the best quality components

Cheap and nasty support, good thing is you can purchase 3 years hardware next day warranty, so all parts are covered.
