I live in Australia and have been wanting to get a turtle for some time now but I have no idea how to go about getting a licence. Where can I get one?

i don't know where you live, but if you live in NSW, Australia you go to the NSW parks and wildlife services web page, download the form and mail or fax it off. for $60 you get a two year licence

I Agree with River Hermit.

Its not illegal to keep many types of reptiles in England. As River said, unless your milking them for their venom or something along those lines. Im stunned. Anyways. Try google it. That always works lol. just ask Google where to get one im sure it will tell you.

Good luck with your turtle.

Hello..wow, didn't know you needed a license to own a reptile, in America you don't unless your a Wild Life rescuer ... or venemous snake milker, but not to just own a reptile...interesting..Take Care :)

I believe you would check with you local "game and fishing" department.
If not, check with you local Town Hall/City Hall on how to obtain one.
