For the good of the country!

They don't need much of case as was proven with the Clinton impeachment by the GOP. let the GOPs vote against it.

There have been many articles of impeachment written already by various Congressmen.
Its up to the US Senate to try the impeachment. I think they can present a pretty good case.

Impeachment:
lets look at the facts-
In a study of the Clinton impeachment, it was clearly politically motivated, and even if the Senate had followed through, the Supreme court would have been obligated to dismiss the case.
Simple fact; Clinton did not lie, he used a legal maneuver that abused due process- a no no for a lawyer and was later disbarred for several months for doing so!

Also- The Impeachment process took 6 years to get to that point!

Bush case: Even though they have reasons for impeachment, they may or may not stand the tests required to carry through

Also- He would be out of office before impeachment process could bear fruit!

You watch too much TV, and don't have a very good grasp on reality or legal principle. Contrary to popular opinion, accusation in the furtherance of a political agenda is not truth, and won't actually stand up to the process. The members of Congress, despite some of the political grandstanding by a few of it's members, know this, and won't proceed.
Yes, Clinton's impeachment was politically motivated, and was pursued for that reason. The big difference here is that he was caught out in a bold faced lie that could be proven. Everyone knows he lied through his teeth under oath, and narrowly avoided being thrown out of office. All the Democrats' can do is accuse Bush / Cheney, they can't really prove anything criminal. Hasn't stopped the smear tactics, but since when has the truth had any effect on politics, particularly to the left of center? No, I am not a Bush fan, but am titred of libelous statements based on hate and not evidence.

Two reasons,

1. you have to have broken the law to be impeached.

That hasn't happened.

2. They don't have the votes to impeach.

So if they tried and failed, they would make the Democrat party look like idiots.

Just like the Republicans looked like trying to impeach Clinton.

EDIT :

To anarchy, the USSC would have no say in an impeachment.

There is nothing that would let them review an impeachment, the power clearly is given to the House and Senate only in the Constitution.

They don't have the votes to convict. Bush, like Clinton, would escape free. It would be a huge cluster---- and would more than likely make a lot of people mad at the Democrats for wasting time and money on something like this when there are lots of other things that desperately need their attention.
