Umm...how about Sodam Insane, for one. Iran and Afghanistan (taliban) for a close second.
I think people are forgetting all the attacks that were made by these groups that allowed murderers to train and carry out murderous missions against the free world, not just the U.S.
If we stand and do nothing, it will only get worse.
Look past the WMD's and look more at the whole history. This has grown from over ten years ago with small attacks and then to 9-11. Do not think that they were done. The Iraq war has done a lot to disrupt the terrorists and keep all of them on the run.
Foreign governments should be held responsible for allowing terrorist networks to survive in their own Countries.

I don't know enough to know - but I do know that the government took us into this war based on a lie - WMD's. This lie was proved by 'The Downing Street Memos'. I also know that despite a recent admission by President Bush that Saddam and Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11....that he and those in power, played on the public emotions relating to this event in order to get our support for war in Iraq.

Who is responsible is a vital piece of information that the public should not rest until it is revealed and justice served. Over a million are now dead on all sides as a result of this action. I can find no noble cause, no good reason and no justification for being in Iraq - both when we invaded and today.

I recall that this Operation Iraqi Freedom was originally entitled:
O peration
I raqi
L iberation

...those in charge of war PR clearly realised the revelation/error and changed the title soon after.

First, we need to end the war and get the troops out of harm's way. Then we need to sort the mess made by our governments in our names and with our taxes. Morally I am repulsed that each death in Iraq is assisted by my taxes and therefore I am also responsible.

2003 invasion in trying to liberate the Iraqi people. Bush Sr. tried to topple Saddam when he was president, so Jr Bush decided he would take up where his father left off.

We should have sent more Soldiers and Air support to Afghan, where Osama was holding up at that time, and not in Iraq! Osama is the terrorist, at that time Iraq was quite compared to what Osma had done on 9/11.

Ya'll should listen to ringolarry, he has the best synopsis, of this whole situation! Do you think that this started 3yrs ago, or 6yrs ago? You better look farther than that! those terrorists have been anxious to get at us for a long time! We just been sitting on our duff, thinking that if we stay peaceful, they will be peaceful ! You better think again ! They are going to use any method they can to destroy us, and that means terrorizing, and even sacrificing their own peoples' lives ! If we pull out now, do you think that are not going to come over here and overtake us ! You better think again, they are on a mission, why do u think they are going all over the world and terrorizing countries that are our friends? Why would they go to all that trouble! Does that sound like they are trying to be peaceful?

Rumsfeld, Bremer and others in Bush administration did crappy job. Also Ahmed Chalabi, Iraqi dissident who begged US to get Saddam did very little to help after the invasion. He basically conned us into this war.

Couple of big screw ups have to do with deBathification of Iraq and the decision to disband existing Iraqi army after 2003 invasion.

Those 2 decisions basically set up Iraq for all out civil war(or conflict) we're seeing right now.

deBathification kicked Sunnis out of power and put Shiites in power causing high tension between those 2 sects. And disbanding of Iraqi army meant firing of every Iraqi soldiers. So right after US invasion you have these former soldiers, trained to fight, armed with weapons without jobs, with no income. And here comes US troops marching through streets of Baghdad.

What would they do to our troops? I don't think they were too thrilled to see our troops. And they know how to kill.

George W was the mastermind in all this BS,...vendetta, power, revenge, I could go on for hours. What happened to the search for Osamha and the WMD? I am not a Saddam sympathizer, but hey, who needed to be hung? And why cant the US find him?

everybody who is involved in it except the innocent civilians who keep getting blown up in the supermarkets. Although there are different types of responsibility---like who started it, who responded to it. Dont you know Man has been fighting and killing for one darn excuse or another as long as he has been able to walk upright and chew gum at the same time.
