Especially as no-one I know has been able to access any accounts with the "new" bank details that have been sent, hole in wall cards dont work,, old Woolwich accounts are closed, and up to 2 hours queue on Barclays helpdesk, and then there is NO "help" or go to your local branch and queue up the street?

i was a woolwich customer and i never had any problems, ever since the barclays have taken over i have no nothing but problems, every week i'm in the bank asking questions about my account. not happy at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help Desk Staff cost money - where do you think the money comes form ?

If you don't like it, apply for an account with another Bank and just walk away from them == Barclays will never spend more money to improve service until they see significant numbers of customers voting with their feet ... (and let's be honest - the only Customers they really care about are those with huge overdrafts / Credit Card debt or those with huge balances in their current accounts... they make almost nothing out of customers who avoid going into debt and have an 'average' balances of a few hundred £)
