inner beauty is the pure essence of goodness that resonates from a human being or animal. Its the love you feel form another, have you ever been in a crowded room and felt something wonderful from one person in that room? thats inner beauty. Inner beauty is oftoen, quite sadly talked about in terms of a persons appearence, as if to over compensate for a personls 'average' looks. In my opinion, everybody has inner beauty, to not have it is to not be alive. Now you might argue that killers or abusers of children definitely DO NOT have it. That may be true at the time of terrible crimes and cruel acts, but thats not to say that these individuals have never had inner beauty. In a nutshell, and certainly in my opinion, inner beauty is the flow of pure spiritual energy that flows within and without all of us. Its the life blood of creation, the force that creates, loves cares, helps, emotes and empathises. Its love in all its forms. we are spiritual beings having a human experience

I suppose one answer might be that inner beauty consists in having come to terms with everything and having an inner tranquility that enables you to face any further difficulties in life with a kind of harmonious equanimity. Inner beauty is all those good qualities that are 'within' you that makes you the "perfect 'man'". It makes you see the good in others even when people around you see bad. It makes you radiate an aura happiness, laughter, joy and all those things that make people around you feel very comfortable being near you. Inner beauty may be difficult to define. Sometimes people just have "something about them" you cant quite figure out what it is i think thats inner beauty. those quirks. I think inner beauty is personality - consideration, kindness all those positive aspects & funny little quirks of a personality we look for.

Someone could be superficially good looking, "gorgeous" even but without that nice personality (inner beauty) they can appear highly unattractive or "ugly" for want of a better word.

inner beauty means that someone who isn't that pretty or glam, but has lots of qualities e.g. caring, clever, insightful, empathetic etc.

If that still doesn't help u. Look at some1 who no-one really talks to and doesn't want to hang around with. They might not be pretty, but they sure have some great qualities and skills that you would consider inner beauty, once you get to know them

I'm really not sure. I don't think anthropology and psychology can answer it. One thing I think it could be is your own perception of other people. Your ability to find someones else's inner beauty. I once knew a woman whose aunty could find the best in everyone regardless of who they were. She never spoke ill of anyone. Everyone liked her. Now you could say that's her inner beauty or was it her ability to find peoples inner beauty regardless of flaws?
