hello !!

i think i can better express myself by typing , there are many things in life you cannot say or express it with words but strangely enough when you sit in front of the lifeless keyboard , you can express it !!
Speaking & Typing are both important to me , with typing i can share my views with the whole world but speaking is a bit more important !!

I, rather, find it much easier to respond via typed message.

When interpreting dreams, I find it difficult to give details face to face. For some odd reason, I can understand a dream better when I type it out. I get a visual of what I'm reading and can respond with what I see by what a person has told me. When I type the reply to the "question", I "see" what should be returned.

Although I am very articulate, I cannot express a dream interpretation as well verbally. People want you to tell them details in such a short time, when my perrogative is to explain to them why certain things are there. It is better that one understand, than to become lost in the jargon of a quick reply. That way, it is easily forgotten.....

Ultimately, for me, it comes down to typing. I don't mind speaking, IF I'm prepared and have rehearsed. With typing, one can cut, paste, delete, and rearrange to their heart's content, and get the content just right. I've seen answers on here where the responder says that emotions and inflection are better done by speaking; I disagree. If the writing skills are good, the inflection and emotion will be correct. And, there's really no trick to this.....I write how I speak....well, most of the time. It's just better organized in writing. Consider this: one sentence, three different ways of saying them.

Eric........you're so good.
Eric, you're sooooooo good.
Eric, you're so GOOD.

LOL. See what I mean? I'm sure you got the vocal inflection in each one.

Typing. Sometimes when I look back at all my answers I am really surprised at what I had written. Thoughts just flow from my mind to my fingers and I love typing. While speaking the flow is obstructed by something or the other. Sometimes the tone is not right and sometimes the volume is too high or low. And then there are gaps, hmms and other expressions which deduct from my basic intent.....

Typing definitely!! Its ok really....I guess I have a few really good internet friends and its fun typing and chatting. But in the real world speaking up is sometimes problematic. Maybe I am not quick enough! I dont know. I think both are important!

I am a terrible at expressing myself thru talk. I write a lot of letters. I am very good at writing my feelings. I always have been. It's not that I find it easier to express feelings, it's just where my heart lies is the written word. Spoken words can get jumbled and the meaning taken wrong.

I express myself better through the keyboard. I would love to be as lucid in real life, but I tend to get really nervy around people. There are reasons for this, and I'm working on them. But I like the freedom on the keyboard. I like being able to flow like this and not feel like I'm being judged on everything I'm saying. It's pretty cool not having anyone staring at me while I'm typing too, makes it a bit easier!

I express myself better typing, although I consider speaking as equally as important and would like to improve my communication skills.

Speaking, Because I can get it directly to people I know on what my view is on life and understand theirs at the same time and learning the more positive side to challenge forces than the stressful, heartache of the negative past.

I am definitely better at expressing myself in writing, i have done many of times before wrote how i felt in a letter and they spoken to them about it face to face, what i do hate though is texting, i think texting is the wrong way to go about it,

so to me they both matter, to get it of your chest write it down but to know how the other one takes it, speak face to face x
