i have top of range keyboard with excellent speakers but i wish to play outside and require more power my keyboard states on back 45w 110-240v 50-60HZ will a guitar amp be o.k. and what wattage is recommended .

You can use a guitar amp, but they also make a special amp for electric keyboards! If you are playing outside, to a large crowd, you need at least 100-150 watts, and if that is not enough, mike it throught the main PA, which usually run 1000 watts!
