Do you prefer to be referred to as a GIRL or a WOMAN?
Does it depend on the circumstances or your age etc?

I like to be called a girl when it's like this: oh you are such a dirty little "girl" !
I like to be called a woman when it's like this: oh my god Cher, you are the most magnificent "woman" I have ever had.

Woman. Being called a girl makes me feel like a kid. And I was officially an adult 4 years aho. I think it depends on the circumstances rather then your age-I'm only 20, but there are some older then me who still like being called girls.

Well at 30 I am a woman but I still look like a girl and so that is how most people refer to me - I don't mind :o)

I was going to say I prefer to be called a lady, but that just made me laugh and laugh.
So, due to the fact I'm 41, I suppose woman would be more appropriate.
Too Old for "girl" I think.

I'm 22 so I should have grown out of seeing myself as a girl, but I haven't. I don't like the word woman anyway, when I'm older I will want to be called a lady.

A girl... (im only 15). I like to be considered as young as I am, and the only time I would lie about my age would be to watch a movie 18+ or play a game 16+ and so on...

Woman, most definitely. Just like I'd never refer to male I respect as a 'boy', I don't want to be called a girl.

i dont think it really matters at my age. i could be a girl or a woman. im only 19 but girl can sound sweeter though especially if the man is singing to me. so perhaps it would be nicer much of the time to call me girl but i can go either way.

Both, i still like to think i'm a young girl but i'm gonna have to start acknowledging the fact that i'm more of a young woman....(32) still full of life and up for a laugh...
As long as people dont slag me off they can call me what they want!!
