My cousin was telling me today that Hitler loved the jews, and wanted to cheer them up because they were always sour about money and famine and boring stuff. So he ordered them placed in laughing gas chambers to forget their worries, and a general heard him wrong! By the time Hitler found out it was too late, and he killed himself out of sorrow.
That sounds pretty crazy but my cousin is a pretty straight up guy, he finished third in the state 100 meter dash and all the girls like him. Anyway I need to go to band practice now! 14/88 :)

I'm amazed at how many people are taking this poor taste question seriously, as well as how much anti-semitic garbage can be spewn in the long preaching answers.
Maybe someday you will suffer, or someone you care about will be killed, and dumb kids (or adults with a child's intelligence and maturity) will sit around and make poor taste jokes about it too. - But pity their ignorance, don't hate them.

Your cousin is either crazy, or he is sympathetic with one of the greatest criminals the world has ever known. Hitler hated the Jews and used them as a scapegoat for all of his own failures. The Holocaust was his idea because he wanted to exterminate the Jews and create a race of pure Aryans. History is quite clear about those facts.

What is truly sick is that a lot of people on this forum would agree with your cousin. Whether of not one accepts the Holocaust there is definite evidence that Hitler fully intended to 'get rid' of Jews and how one wishes to interpret that phrase depends upon the flag hanging on your wall and framing the license plate on your truck.

You know, there's a limit that people can take to sick humor, but this one crosses the line. First of all, you're too young, obviously to know much about the Holocaust, nevertheless ever known someone who survived it. It just happens that I do. And I don't think anything you wrote is funny.
It amazes me that you think the butchery of millions of people is a good source for your amusement. Perhaps the rape, torture, medical experimentation, shootings, gassing and other killing is something to you to laugh about, but to those who lost entire generations of families in Hitlers concentration camps, it's not funny.
Perhaps heaps of dead babies and women is a source of comedy for you. It just shows that you're not only immature, but sick.
Wars are increasing in this world. And your safe zone is getting narrower. Your generation has not even begun to experience what war is like. But you will. And you will certainly not be able to handle it, because it involves hardships which you're too unwilling to endure. Firstly, I bet you and your cousin both are some kinda freaks. What is the relationship between girls liking a guy and that guy knowing everything about history? I suggest you get some self confidence course cause I can see girls-liking-you has become a dream for you. I bet you are not good with girls at all. So get that hammered into your head: guys should approve girls not to seek approval from them.
Secondly, not everything people have heard of Holocaust is true. The truth is Hitler did hate Jews and he did order for massacres. But if you want to know the truth, you should not read history books written by Jews or by people who hated Hitler. Cause both groups' books are bias. If you wanna know the truth you should go for history books written by a fair person. I personally recommend the books written by Russians.
Reason? Yes I know I know Russia (called USSR at that time) was also invaded by Hitler army too and Russians also don't like Hitler but the fact is, unlike in the rest of Europe, in Russia no one will be charged if they deny the Holocaust or say that Hitler did at least one good thing.
And also unlike our lovely America, Russia does not belong to Jews.
You can’t go to African or Far East Asians because they have been too far from the heart of the problem.
In Russians I suggest Vasili Grosman books.
Go get them and read them.
There you'll see Holocaust has happened but in a much smaller scale and that Jews have not being burnt in Hitler furnaces for four years.
There you'll see even those being burnt not all have been Jews.
From there you'll get to know that most of the people burnt were elders, beggars, and other people who were considered useless by Hitler officers.
Of course some of these officers had been too cruel and had killed women and children too. But people with some specialist, such as doctors and engineers were not being burnt. The women were used for sexual satisfaction of the soldiers.
So what you have heard are not all true.
And I'm talking to everyone out there. Samuel Clemens who you know him by the nick name of Mark Twain says: I never allowed my schooling interfere with my education. What I wanna tell you by this quotation is: Never allow your knowledge be contaminated by what you get from the Media.
I repeat. Hitler did hate Jews killed a lot of them. Holocaust did happen. Jews were not only burnt, but also they were used for medical experiments or as a reality training for shooting execution squads. What I am saying, Holocaust was not in such big scales that we are hearing or being taught now. It was not a four your slaughtery and not 5000000 were burnt.

Well, since he's a fast runner and not queer, he must be telling the truth....
It's a great bedtime story, but far from the truth. There are no orders that Hitler signed ordering the deaths of millions, but his speeches were implicate of his intentions.
