its good that u care about her, but i think that she is old enough to be left to her own devices. if her art is worthy, believe me buyers will be lining up to ur place soon.

Well... first off you're her mother and that is going to make you a bit biased.
Her art might be amazing to you, but is there anything that sets it apart from all the other starving artists and flea market painters alredy? There are many MANY amazing artists out there and that never get by on painting alone.
She might be able to get a job with a fashion designing firm, but if she dosen't have a degree, she could have some problems even getting an interview (weather the degree really makes any difference in ability to draw or paint dosen't matter here).
Take some of her work to a gallery that is willing to sell her work, she might not get as much $$, but you'll see if her work actually sells.
Of course if you could get somone like Paris Hilton to say it's hot.. you'll be loaded.

You need to get in contact with a textile artist and it depend on which discipline they would use. Printing on to material is very prices, rolls of material could range from £2,000, up-wards (depending on the length and type of the material, design to be printing and the type of colours and techniques used to transfer the design to the material itself. Smaller samples are usually created by the textile artist. Getting noticed: Exhibitions is her best bet. Try your local area to find out whether your local authority has any art outlets (small advertisements in local free newspapers, the net) will all help getting yourself known. Most artist network- people they have already met thought University, exhibitions etc. Its a hard business to be recognised in there are many artist creating brilliant works of art whether their discipline is painting, sculptural or textiles and have been working in their field for years and are still waiting to be recognised. Good luck in your quest. It's great when you could depend on a parent no matter how old you are.

These days there are a lot of online galleries she could exhibit her art on and also put notes beside asking for people interested in printing. A lot of printing companies will help also. Good Luck! It's great to see a mum being so supportive!

Artists have to promote themselves. She can organise a sale and exhibition of her work.Local school, church auditoriums will be cheap to start with.Give the press some publicity material or invite local club. After a few exhibitions you will get orders for sale.If the work is really good you can sell them.A lot of efforts are required to get established.

what your opinion of your daughters talents are and some else might differ. you are taking it that her work is fabulous which every father will do. what she needs to do is produce a portfoilo of work and hawk it around the different houses that produce patterns for materials. but expect to be knocked down a few times. good luck but can be a long walk.

I don't know of any actual contact, but maybe she could try some widely spread art website, such as DeviantArt. That way, many people will see her work, and who knows...
