Sushi Restaurant.

It's healthy, fun, popular and profitable. Not only that, you'll like the food yourself. I don't know how much the 10lakh rupees is worth in your country, but if you can try it. In the US and UK many are becoming really popular. Good Luck.

Kerala is world famous for travel options and spices. Try doing something in one of these two sectors.

Travelling related business seems a good idea. The infrastructure is already in place, people worldover knew about Kerala and are willing to visit, manpower is available (skilled). As a result you need not worry much about many things. Ofcourse you must select a proper place to start with and your unique style.

Apart from these two sectors, financial sector is also booming. I believe Kerala recieves lots of money from NRIs. You can think of setting up a "financial services" firm. It can be about money changing, share trading, marketing of insurance and mutual fund schemes etc. :But you need information and some experience. You need good people ( preferably properly trained). But it's worth it. Am in this sector and if you need more information, please feel free to contact.

My best wishes to you.

Set up a manpower consultancy that deals with Skilled Labour to Middle East and Nurses to the rest of the world. You have plenty of resources out there.

Also exporting spices to Hyderabad, rest of AP, UP, Lucknow etc would be a very good option.
