Do you say "Twenty-Oh-Seven," or "Two Thousand Seven?" I'd like to know what's the more popular style of reference.

In a more formal setting, I usually say, "two-thousand seven", but more often than not, I say, "07".

What I'd like to know is, what do we call this century? Last century it was "the nineteen hundreds", before that the "eighteen hundreds" etc...so do we say the "twenty-hundreds"? The "two thousands"? To this question, though, I just say two-thousand-seven. When 2010 comes, though I'll say twenty-ten. I think it was that way in the early twentieth century, too, from 1900-1910, it was "the nineteenhundreds" and then 1910-1920, it was "the 'teens"...its a very small thing that drives me mad...lol...glad to know I'm not alone.

"Two-thousand seven." And I call this decade the "two-thousands." I don't know what else to call it. From what I have read, the first ten years of the twentieth century were called the "nineteen-hundreds."
