Go out and get some flowers and chocolate for your mom. Apologize for this and explain her, rationally why this happened.
Try to explain, that if she is reading an exciting book she, too, can be lost in it just like in WoW.

If you don't have a girlfriend, try to get one, to show your mom that you are able to socialize.

definitely apologize to her; she's your mom

while throwing the mouse at ur mom was uncalled for, it nevertheless has now made you cognizant of your flaws and incapabilites (no offense). Should you continue to game and not socialize, any apology would be rendered useless.

so seize this important moment in ur life and start making changes now; i'm not saying stop WOW, but sort of ease your way into the social world. it's important that u do this: that way ur apology would be sincere to her.

else don't, and continue to hurt her, and urself, in the process. u don't seem to be a genuine "hardcore" gamer because those guys wouldn't care about mom's (or anyone's) feelings.

carpe diem, man, carpe diem.

O_O your poor mom!!! You've apologized already, right?

You apparently need to learn a few anger management skills. There's no reason to throw a mouse/controller if you lose. It might make your mom feel better if you ask her what she thinks you can do to prevent this from happening again.

Anyway, have some respect for your hardware!
