Let`s hope so. It starts to look like the last days of the third reich. Perhaps they will all flee to Argentina. Except Bush who would have to commit suicide in a bunker by eating a poison pretzel.

President Bush has the same problem many a past politician has had - trusting friends to be competent. A President needs a loyal staff so often long-time acquaintances are appointed and so often they are just not up to the job. Rumsfeld was a poor SoD the first time so there is no excuse there. Second guessing is always fun so here I go: Cheney was an excellent SoD but President Bush, being a disguised moderate, needed a hardcore conservative as vice. Once Phil Graham of Texas retired as Senator, with his impeccable record of doing the right thing without personal gain, would have made a much better VP. SoJ appointees, for some reason, are often incompetent (Reno really comes to mind fast here). Ashcroft worked out well but had problems of his own. This would/will be a tough fill.

While Wolfowitz is a Zionist Neo-con who I have no interest in defending, I would like to ask why the corrupt head of the UN, Kofi Annan, whose son was involved in the theft of millions of dollars is also not asked to resign.

People bring up Republican scandals like Cunningham which is great but I ask why are Democrats not forced to resign. I am thinking of Feinstein who stole billions for her husband as well as the penny ante guys like William Jefferson who was caught red handed with $90,000 in cold cash bribes (pun intended) kept in his freezer.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

they are like cats in a liter box trying to hide/bury as much sh*t possible, but there is only so much sh*t you can bury in a liter box.
This whole ashcroft in his hospital bed situation is really sketchy. Can bush really be that low as to try to get a sick man to approve his eavesdropping program from a hospital room?
I guess it really didn't matter since he broke the law by not getting the Dept. of Justices approval.

Pretty much.

The best thing he ever did was appoint Condi Rice. I mean, I don't agree with her most of the time, but she's out there trying to make America allies, not enemies.

The ONLY good thing Bush has done. ONLY thing.

No doubt, he's personally affected, but since there's no real momentum to impeach him, he'll remain in office till the end of his term.

We should all be concerned about how bad his decisions will be now that he's weakened by the fall of these key people.
