Your entire life. Firstly, there is your university study which will range from 10+ years. Secondly, as a medical professional you will be required to read and research new methods and procedures. You will also be required to attend various workshops and convocations. If you are becoming a Pediatrician because of money, or because you like children, you are doing it for the wrong reason

I think it will last for 8 years if you will not faii any of your subjects.
