The houseboats in Kerala are quite one of a kind and at the moment they are attracting a lot of attention. There are several key places in kerala where houseboats are available. these boats are fitted with all amenities and come in many ranges ie single room, double room etc, .Its quite a unique experience wherein u travel thru silent, serene rivers with canopy cover on all sides. Its a lovely atmosphere especially for couples. Also kerala has enumerable beautiful sites to see so i would say it is a perfect place for a holiday.

House Boats offers immense fun.The best route if from Alleppey to Kumarakom which passes thru spectacular landslides.They charge 3500-4000RS for 1and half day.There is one more ferry drive from Alleppey to Kollam.7 Hr ferry drive.Alleppey is 2.5 hrs drive from Kochi and Kollam is 90 km from Triruvanthapuram.
