Was Ugly Betty telling Hilda that Santos had been killed in the store robbery?

I think that yes, that was the news Betty was delivering. I hope not, but it would appear so. If he had only been injured they probably would have been hauling butt to the hospital, rather than wasting time in the hallway. It really sucks though if they did kill him, first we lose him on Drive (well, we lose the whole show!) and now this. It is especially sad since they were all really a family again, and Justin was finally getting to know him and Santos was interested in Justin's life. That majorly sucks. Everything else certainly was interesting! That was more a drama show finale than a comedy one! Can't wait for next season.

Betty possibly could have said that. I hope Santos lives but I get the feeling that he was killed. But it was a great episode and I'm definitely going to watch season 2.

I think she chose neither. Even though she had a suitcase, I feel like she wasn't going with Henry or Gio. In her dream on the baseball field, she chose to pull herself away from both of them by jumping off. She knows she needs to take her own personal plunge before she can do anything else. Also, because Daniel is out of Mode for now, she may have packed up to go with him to France (the ifle tour was on her suitcase). And, as a lot of people pointed out, she wasn't wearing the ring so it's clearly not Henry. I really hope she chooses Gio in the end though. They're too cute.

Yeah, I'm sure they killed him off... What if they didn't? Will Hilda move out of the house? They can't all live in one house... Then what's gonna happen to Betty and her dad? Is he coming back? (Hey - nice twist with that crazy immigration lady! whoa....)
Anyway, I liked the finale and will be back to watch next season!
I didn't like that Amanda twist.... She's Fay's daughter? and they are really trying to incorporate Christina - not working too well, if you ask me... She's kinda off kilter with the show... I don't know - she just seems weird.

They did not actually tell us if he died or not... You heard the shot, and they you saw the police at Betty's door. But I think from Hilda's reaction that he was killed. Sad...

yes sadly it was and it did say on the spoilers that betty was going to loose a family member . I know it was sad . Especially since her son just started to get to know his dad .

Yes, I think he was killed. She wouldn't cry if he was only hurt.
