I love etsy, I go there regularly. and *gasp* I LOVE your items so much. I have a week spot for wind chimes and wire items like that. Your bulb rooters are really cool too.

I think it could possibly be your shipping and handling price or even just your asking prices...see if there's not a way to lower one a bit.

You have great stuff it just takes a while and sometimes it takes the right person to see your stuff. You should really start posting in the forums under Promotions & Critiques and also just get involved in the forums like leaving comments and such. I am not a seller on etsy I just look and occasionally buy something but a lot of the time I do go into the forums and click on peoples little pictures just to see what they are selling. I hope this helps and good luck on getting that first sell!

Etsy is a good site but they don't advertise. They mostly rely on their members to buy from each other. I used them for a while but didn't sell anything. I did buy some stuff though.

Your stuff is fine, but a little bit "crafty" in that anyone interested in beads or wire could do them, or find them easily in a local craft show, with parts that are readily available in stores. You are in a terribly competitive category and it's always a challenge to be on the cutting edge of fashion and design.

Also on the home page, your logo is pixillated. Did you mean for it to do that? It's probably too small for their system so when they enlarge it, it goes all blurry.

I've heard of Etsy and also have an account with them. It has been over a year and nothing has sold. I was talking to a co-worker and she summed it up better: "Etsy is a community of sellers."

I suggest that you do some other things online like auctions, eBay, and blogging.

Good luck.

The only times I've actually gone to Etsy is by accident, looking for ideas for things to make myself. Your things are great ~ but like another answerer said, things I could probably make myself. That doesn't mean that on the right site they won't sell ~ there are plenty of people who would rather buy a nice piece of art than take the time to make it! I wish you luck, and agree with the others: try another site.

I think everyone on etsy hits a dry spell; your stuff is very cool! Have you tried selling your stuff at craft fairs? I know it's a lot of work, but it's a good oppurtunity to promote!
Good luck!

the only people that go there are trying to sell, i dont think anyone goes there to buy. its just not a well set up system, ebay works much better.
