The answer to that question centers around just exactly what you are watching.

Would you consider somebody who reads Dr. Seuss books and all of the Boxcar Children books to be well read? As such, you need to extend your viewing habits beyond Nickelodeon, MTV, and porn.

I suggest watching the BBC, Discovery, and porn.

Good Q!..I guess maybe people think most people watch junk tv and don't spend their tv time watching educational shows.

Having that assumption is definitely not fair.
Contestants on Jeapardy are well viewed. They have to be. They are asked a lot of trivia questions about tv shows. That just proves that to be well rounded out educationally, you have to watch a lot of tv too.

It's not fair. It's just not fair.

good point. i mean its time that they start calling me a 'well viewer'.... instead of 'you are wasting your precious time sitting in front of the TV watching stupid shows that will eat your brain'.
