elgrapad- Nah, I've done the super glue thing, it doesn't have quite the impact and shock value as the needle and thread.

And just because your finished with A.I. because America voted and Melinda apparently wasn't popular enough, American Idol is going to end. Oh, seriously, who cares. American Idol is overrated anyway. It certainly isn't the same as it once was. Besides, everyone is coming out with a CD or has the opportunity to star in a Broadway show.

I watched something on TV last night I think on CNN about AI. And how a lot of the second, third and fourth place people have wound up with bigger careers than the actual winners who often have their bit of fame and then pretty much disappear. I'll bet we will be hearing a whole lot about Melinda. To answer your question tho I agree but I was ready to throw something at the TV - the head to the carpet thing could be painful. Talk about disbelief.

just because melinda doolittle got kicked off idol doesn't mean we'll be seeing the last of her. look at jennifer hudson. she got kicked out of idol before and ppl were also disappointed. but she beat fantasia and got the supporting role in dreamgirls, AND became best supporting actress in her first acting year. the other answerer was right. winning idol doesn't guarantee stardom that lasts.

Actually she may be better off not winning. The winner gets a record contract but does not have much control of his/her career until the contract is over. Jordin who will probably win will have to make the type of records that they tell her to.
Melinda is the type of entertainer who would do very well at a place like Las Vegas.

nope, the guy and monster lady would sell a lot more record than pancake face.

I'm so pissed this is why I never watch a whole season,
Remmember when that girl got voted off on Fantasia's season # 4. and Chris Daughtery. This lets us know that the people voting are idiots... she will be more popupar because people are gonna go out and buy her album in revenge and because she is a damn good singer. It will be for the best she wont be chained to American idols label contract. She is gonna be free to get the better deal...I'm happy but pissed

You never know, It might be the best thing that ever happened to her. Wining the show does not guarantee stardom. Look at Taylor Hicks, and Rubin Studdard...they both won the show and are not doing very well at all. Kat Mcphee, and Chris Daughtry both lost and are more famous than them.
