I've been debating whether I should major in marine biology or in finance/business and it's about that time where I need to decide on a major. Honestly, I enjoy marine biology and wouldn't mind having a career concerning that, but the pay isn't well and I'm uncertain as to how I'll get a job. My parents have told me to major in something that will be easy for me to find a good and stable job (such as business or finance). What should I do? (Thanks!)

My parents always told me to major in what I enjoy. Their philosophy is "you will only excel in your passion". If you're really serious about marine biology, you will do well in it.
